Cinema: 15th Monte-Carlo Comedy Film Festival awards
The 15th Monte-Carlo Comedy Film Festival drew to a close on Saturday evening with the presentation of five prizes, awarded to the top films by director Claude Lelouch, Chair of the Jury. The award for best film was presented to Fernando Colomo’s The Tribe. Carmen Machi was declared best actress and Nicola Nocella best actor, for his role in the film Easy. Director Armando Ianucci was also recognised for his film The Death of Stalin, while the Special Jury Prize was awarded to Mike White’s Brad’s Status.
