Exhibition: Alfredo Volpi, the poetics of colour"
The exhibition "Alfredo Volpi, the poetics of colour" is on display at the Villa Paloma. It consists of 70 works, which retrace the career of this Brazilian painter, who was born in Italy. Alfredo Volpi is considered to be one of the instigators of the concretist movement of his time. He later gave up painting with oils in favour of tempera, a technique that involves binding pigments with egg or glue.
