Monaco Scouts undertake environmental project
Monaco’s Guides and Scouts have set out to complete the Tour du Mont-Blanc long-distance hike in aid of a good cause. They will walk between six and seven kilometres a day and have been preparing for this challenge for a year, including three weekends of training under real conditions. This camp is the first environmental component supported by the Fondation Sancta Devota: a major cross-cutting project spanning several years will be launched as the Guides and Scouts begin their walk. A number of missions will be carried out as part of further action to conserve nature in partnership with the National Forests Office.
