Presentation of Albert I Grand Medals in Paris
Since 1948, the Oceanographic Institute of the Prince Albert I Foundation has been honouring people who protect the seas and oceans. These awards recognise celebrities, researches and specialists who are at the heart of science and mediation. This year, the Grand Medal was presented by H.S.H. Prince Albert II to Daniel Pauly, a researcher at the Institute for the Oceans and Fisheries at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver.
