The Princess Charlene Home for Children officially opened
The Princess Charlene Home for Children was officially opened today by T.S.H. Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene, in the presence of H.E. Mr Michel Roger, Minister of State, members of the government and representatives of institutions.
Located at number 9 rue Bellevue, the building has been built on the site where the old Dominican Convent once stood. The project was implemented by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health in cooperation with the Ministry for Public Works, the Environment and Urban Development
As the Minister of State pointed out "this new building has met the need to provide the Children's Home with appropriate and more modern facilities, thereby attaching greater importance to children's needs, their rights and those of their families. »
The Government of Monaco thus demonstrates its commitment to continuing to make Monaco a model country in the social sector, by setting up these new facilities within the new Home for Children.
