Pink October: all together to combat breast cancer

Breast cancer kills 12,000 women every year in France. Many initiatives are taking place in the Principality and throughout France for the "2018 Pink October" campaign, to remind the public of the severity of this disease and raise women's awareness of the importance of screening. Women aged from 50 to 74 are the most affected by this disease. They are therefore strongly advised to have a mammogram every two years from the age of 50, as this helps breast cancer to be detected at an earlier stage.
