Africa Eco Race sets off from Monaco
The 2019 Africa Eco Race is setting off from the Principality of Monaco, the fourth time the event has started in the country. Over the course of nearly two hours, a succession of motorbikes, cars, quad bikes and trucks passed through Quai Antoine I for the starting ceremony, which was attended by Adriana Karembeu. During the off-road rally raid, the 166 competitors will need to cover just over 6,000 kilometres and travel through Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal. Working in partnership with Princess Grace’s charity AMADE, they will distribute toys, medicines, school supplies and solar lamps.
