Concert in aid of the "Soupe de Nuit" Association
A few days before Christmas, the Philharmonic Orchestra gave a concert in aid of the "Soup de Nuit" (Night Soup) Association. The Association was founded in 1992 and distributes meals on a voluntary basis to the most disadvantaged people in the municipalities of Nice and Menton, during the harsh winter periods. Under the direction of conductor Philippe Bender, who is an active member of the association, the two soloists Camille and Julie Berthollet also gave generously of their talent by taking part in this charity concert. All the proceeds of the concert were donated to the Association.
