Dalí’s Catalonia, 30 years after his death
The Dalí Triangle is in north-eastern Spain. It refers to a geometric shape that appears on a map of Catalonia if you link the three locations with which Salvador Dalí is associated: Figueres, Portlligat and Púbol. Dalí will be the focus of an exhibition, "Dalí, a history of painting", running at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco throughout the summer, as the convention and cultural centre continues its series of great monographs of artists. The artists featured have so far included Warhol, Picasso and Bacon.
