Dance: the start of the new term for the Princess Grace Academy
It's the start of the new term for the Princess Grace Academy's 47 dancers, who are an integral part of the "Ballets de Monte-Carlo". A total of 17 young pupils are joining the prestigious, internationally renowned school this year. These young dancers, aged from 13 to 18, are from various different countries. With ten or so teachers, students can take classes for four or five years in classical dance, contemporary dance, composition, and Pilates, as well as classes in music and the history of dance. The aim of this training is to enable them to perfect their skills, making it possible for them to join large international companies at the end of their studies.
