Environment: making cars cleaner
As part of the Rencontres Internationales des Véhicules Ecologiques (RIVE, International Eco-Friendly Vehicle Meetings), H.S.H. Prince Albert II was welcomed to the Pôle Mécanique d’Alès race track by Mayor of Alès, Max Roustan, and French Minister for the Ecological and Inclusive Transition, François de Rugy. H.S.H. the Prince was accompanied by H.E. Mr Bernard Fautrier, Vice President and CEO of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. In his speech, the Sovereign Prince talked about the need to adopt non-polluting means of transport as a vital step in putting the brakes on climate change and reducing urban pollution. The aim of these RIVE events is to identify solutions that will cut transport-related greenhouse gas emissions and take stock of developments in sustainable transport and mobility.
