The Soroptimist Club celebrates its 40th anniversary
The Soroptimist Club celebrated its 40th anniversary in the luxurious setting of the Hôtel Hermitage, under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II and in the presence of Monegasque dignitaries, including Stéphane Valeri, President of the National Council. This movement was founded in California in 1921 and in Monaco in 1978, and is a worldwide organisation for women who are involved in professional and social life. Its aim is to promote human rights for all, the status and conditions of women, education, equality, development and peace. Over the years, members of the club have been involved in activities at the local, national and international levels, in a spirit of solidarity and on a voluntary basis.
