Ventimiglia: An area for mothers and children in the migrants' camp
As part of a programme for young migrants who are unaccompanied minors, AMADE Mondiale has financed reception centres in Ventimiglia to help children and families. H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover, President of AMADE Mondiale (the World Association of Children's Friends), accompanied by her daughter-in-law, Beatrice Casiraghi, visited the migrants' camp to talk to the families. A total of 53 volunteers from the Monegasque Red Cross, in association with the Italian association Terre des hommes, work in shifts at the camp on a daily basis.
