On Monday 7 December, in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II and many Monegasque dignitaries, the "Flavien Foundation, a New Hope" presented a cheque for EUR 100,000 to the Monaco Scientific Centre to support research into combating paediatric cancers.
For several years, the "Mechanisms of Resistance to Targeted Therapies" team at the CSM's Medical Biology Department has been focusing its research on developing effective and appropriate treatments for paediatric cancers.
Thanks to the support of the Flavien Foundation, major advances have been made in terms of research.
At this event, the staff of the Medical Biology Department gave a presentation of their work, to highlight the importance of research and to thank the Flavien Foundation and the Prince's Government for their active support.
