The 3rd Meeting of the Historical Sites of the Grimaldis of Monaco will be held this weekend, on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 June, on Place du Palais Princier.
Three departments will be in the spotlight, presenting 14 different communes:
- for Manche: Saint-Lô, Hambye, Torigny-les-Villes, Granville, Moyon, Percy-en-Normandie and Cherbourg;
- for Territoire de Belfort, Belfort and Giromagny;
- for Alpes-Maritimes, Cagnes-sur-Mer, La Turbie, Antibes-Juan-les-Pins, Puget-Théniers and Peille.
The event will be held in an atmosphere of friendship and sharing. There will be lots of events for young and old alike: horse-drawn carriage rides around Monaco-Ville, an opportunity to taste some culinary specialities, folk dances, a chance to discover artists and traditional trades, a boules arena, jazz groups, and so on.
Each site invited to the event will also highlight its historic links to the Principality.
