Given the positive development in the COVID-19 epidemic noted over the last few months, the Prince’s Government has decided to relax the current health regulations.
From Saturday 11 March 2023, people who test positive for COVID-19 will no longer be automatically required to self-isolate. From the same date, contacts of a positive case will no longer be monitored by the epidemiological investigation unit and will no longer have to take a PCR or antigen test two days after their last contact.
Furthermore, the COVID-19 vaccination requirement set out in Act 1.509 of 20 September 2021 will be lifted early, allowing those staff who were suspended to return to work from Monday 27 March 2023.
As we emerge from this crisis, the Prince’s Government encourages anyone who has symptoms of a respiratory infection, whether due to COVID, flu or any other virus where there is a risk of airborne transmission, to wear a mask, use barrier measures and consult their usual doctor.
Please note that mask wearing is still mandatory in healthcare facilities.
