This evening, 39 people are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital: 29 patients, 15 of whom are residents, are hospitalised. Moreover, this evening, 10 people, 4 of whom are residents, are in intensive care.
Sadly, an 84-year-old resident who tested positive for the SARS-CoV-2 virus has died. This is the 26th death of a resident of the Principality in connection with the Coronavirus since the start of the epidemic. The Prince's Government extends its sincere condolences to the family and friends of this person. It wishes to assure them of its full support at this time of sorrow.
Today, there are ten further recoveries to be noted. The total number of people who have recovered thus amounts to 1,754.
This Wednesday evening, 119 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to people with mild symptoms, who are invited to self-isolate at home.
