The forthcoming edition of the Monaco Yacht Show, the internationally renowned yachting exhibition, will take place from 28 September to 1 October 2022.

In preparation for the event, which is an essential date on the yachting calendar and generates significant economic benefits for the Principality, the process of setting up the necessary installations will begin this week.

Concentrated around Port Hercule, the main roads affected by the traffic restrictions introduced for the Yacht Show’s installation will be Quai des Etats-Unis/Avenue J.F. Kennedy, Route de la Piscine, and Quai Antoine Ier (from 12 September 2022 in the case of the latter), as well as the Port’s various quays.

Parking will be prohibited to allow work to begin, while various temporary traffic measures will be introduced for both vehicles and pedestrians. In some cases, this will entail roads being closed completely for a period of several days.

However, with on-going improvements made each year thanks to close collaboration between the State Departments and the event’s organisers, arrangements will be put in place to help ensure traffic is able to flow smoothly at peak times.  Restrictions will also be eased at certain times to allow parents to drop off and collect their children at schools in the area, while temporary traffic systems will ensure deliveries can be made more easily.

Two parking areas for bicycles and motorcycles will also be created from 12 September 2022, when Quai Antoine 1er is occupied:

- One on Avenue de la Quarantaine;

- And another at the La Digue public car park (please contact the reception desk for details of how to access these facilities).

The areas concerned will be gradually re-opened to the public from 2 October 2022, with normal conditions resumed on 13 October 2022.
